SDVI Integrates Its Rally Platform With EIKON-iQ to Access EIKON Services Within Automated Media Supply Chains

SUNNYVALE, Calif.March 28, 2025 — SDVI, the leading platform provider for cloud-native media supply chains, today announced that it has integrated its Rally media supply chain management platform with the new EIKON-iQ intelligent integration gateway to enable full access to the complete EIKON media services portfolio from within a Rally managed supply chain. This integration enables Rally users to place orders for EIKON services and, as those jobs are serviced by EIKON Group, maintain visibility into job status and costs.

With this integration, supply chains running in Rally can create workorders for EIKON jobs, such as scripting, mixing, localization, mastering, and QC, and then send those workorders to EIKON-iQ for routing to the appropriate EIKON service or system. As a job is handled, EIKON-iQ communicates status updates back to Rally to keep supply chain operators informed of any phase changes. Once EIKON finishes the job, EIKON-iQ sends a completion message back to Rally along with a link to the new resource requested in the original workorder. Rally accesses the new files and proceeds with the next steps in the supply chain, logging metadata information on duration and costs from EIKON.

“In almost every media supply chain, there is work that needs to be completed by a third-party service provider like EIKON Group,” said Andy Brinck, vice president of strategic alliances for SDVI. “This new EIKON-iQ integration enables Rally operators to have control over and visibility into external jobs that have been assigned to EIKON. Able to monitor job status and completion information, operators have a wider view across the entire supply chain and are empowered to better manage tight deadlines, cost controls, and delivery requirements.”

Content often moves into and out of Rally-managed supply chains depending on the type of work that needs to be done. The most efficient path is for automated media processing that uses application presets to complete a task. However, many media supply chains specify unique versioning or localization work that simply cannot be done by automated tools. In these cases, work needs to be parceled out to preferred third-party providers such as EIKON Group. Bringing job status information back into Rally, the EIKON-iQ integration gives media operations staff better visibility into the status of any asset as well as accurate cost information for these external jobs.

“We are excited about the new integration with SDVI because we believe that our joint customers want better visibility into the status, timeline and cost of projects that are being assigned to EIKON Group services from Rally-managed supply chains,” said Richard Fish, chief operating officer at EIKON Group. “This integration enables a first-of-its-kind ability for Rally to provide external job information to supply chain operators on jobs being handled by outside service providers, and it makes EIKON’s portfolio of services much more accessible for Rally users.”
