EIKON Group has appointed former CEO of The Mill Robin Shenfield as Chairman.
Founded 2014 EIKON quickly established itself as a global leader in digital mastering and localisation for the entertainment industry working with all the major Hollywood studios and entertainment distribution companies. EIKON’s core offering is a technology and creative service hub for mastering, QC, versioning and localisation services for the feature film, episodic and trailer market, including editorial, visual effects, subtitling and censorship.
Shenfield joins EIKON at a pivotal time for the company which recently secured its second round of investment from Tenzing Equity’s £300m Tenzin I fund. Wright, said: “Robin’s experience will be of great benefit to EIKON, he was an instantly impressive individual. Outside of industry experience and skills, Robin will bring tremendous insight to further growing EIKON from an SME into a major global force. He will add real value in continuing the company’s growth trajectory and delivering excellence. We’re delighted to have him leading our board.”
Shenfield added: “I was extremely impressed with the quality of the management team and their achievements in growing EIKON in such a short space of time. EIKON has led the way in delivering quality and excellence in the entertainment industry, establishing a business that is on track to grow into a formidable global force. I am thrilled to join this ambitious team and I look forward to helping the company deliver on its ambitions.”
