EIKON’s London facility has been awarded Gold Star Shield by the Trusted Partner Network (TPN), the highest level of content security accreditation available to media service providers.
Gold Star Shield is the new top tier of the TPN framework, sitting above the established Gold Shield. It is reached only by organisations that have resolved every best practice and additional recommendation identified during assessment to TPN’s full satisfaction. Of the 814 organisations that undergo TPN assessment, just 21 hold Gold Star Shield. EIKON is now one of them.
The Trusted Partner Network is the film and television industry’s content security programme, run by the Motion Picture Association. It gives studios and streaming platforms a common, independently assessed standard for how their partners store, handle, and move content. For a supply chain built around pre-release films and unreleased series, that standard is not a formality. It is part of the basis on which work is awarded.
Studios and streaming platforms rely on the security of every partner in their content supply chain. A single weak link exposes assets worth millions and intellectual property that clients are betting their business on. Reaching the top tier of TPN accreditation signals that EIKON meets that expectation not at a single point in time, but as a sustained operating discipline across localization, quality control, mastering, and distribution.
That trust is earned through sustained, often unseen work. It lives in the controls, the access policies, the audits, and the everyday decisions that keep client content secure long before anyone asks to see a certificate.
